About Ben Yutzy
Most contract SICs bring currency. Ben brings single pilot PIC type ratings on both the King Air 350 and King Air 200 (HALO), cross-training in the C90-GTi/GTx, and 650-plus hours in Level D King Air simulators as copilot alongside pilots in training.
That simulator time isn't FAA-loggable flight time, but it represents something rare: deep, repetitive exposure to King Air systems and procedures built from hundreds of hours in the right seat of a Level D simulator. Ben knows where procedures demand precision, where avionics catch people off guard, and where the aircraft demands respect. That awareness transfers directly to how he operates in the right seat.
Ben is currently offering his services as SIC under Part 91. For an operator or flight department, that means you're getting someone who is qualified, trained, and standardized at the captain level. In the right seat, supporting your operation on your terms.
Ben has operated in some of the most demanding airspace in the country, including KTEB and KHPN in the New York metro area. He's based at KICT in Wichita and available to travel anywhere in the continental US for single trips or ongoing contract coverage.
The value to you: An SIC who requires no type rating instruction, no catch-up on the aircraft, and no uncertainty. Just show up and fly.
